We may link this automatically collected data to other information we collect about you.

We use temporary and permanent cookies to enhance your experience of our Sites. If you have turned cookies off, you may not be able to use registered areas of the website. We tie cookie information to your email address when you elect to remain logged in so as to maintain and recall your preferences within the website.

These technologies are used in analyzing trends, administering the Sites, tracking users’ movements around the Sites, and to gather demographic information about our user base as a whole. We may create and use reports based on the use of these technologies on an individual as well as aggregated basis.

We may process your personal information and data as necessary for the performance of a contract or to comply with our legal obligations. We may retain and use your personal information to resolve disputes, enforce our rights, or to protect the legal rights, property, safety, and security of us, our users, and others. We may also use your personal information to comply with applicable law and industry standards, and to enforce our policies, Terms of Use, or rights arising from contracts, or for such other purposes that you may authorize at the time you submit the information.

Information from Third Parties

We may collect information about you from third parties, including third party applications, social media applications, or data providers that collect demographic or marketing-related information, such as lead generators.

With whom we share Information

We may need to share your personal information and your data to our affiliates, service providers, business partners, and other third parties we use to support our organization, for the purpose of providing our services to you. We will share your personal information with third parties only in the ways that are described in this Privacy Policy. We do not sell your Personal Information to third parties.

We may share your personal information and data with our business partners who sell our products and services so they can communicate with you about your purchase and related matters.

We may disclose personal information to investigate or prevent unlawful activities or misuse of the Sites. In addition, we may also disclose personal information to protect the rights, property, or safety of us, our users, our employees, or the general public.

We may also disclose personal information to a buyer or other successor or organization in the event of an actual or potential merger, acquisition, divestiture, restructuring, reorganization, dissolution, or other sale of all or a portion of our business or assets, including as part of bankruptcy, liquidation, or similar proceeding.

Security

We maintain appropriate data collection, storage, processing practices, and security measures, intended to protect personal information collected through the Sites.

Your Choice in Information Use

You may be asked to provide personal information to engage in certain activities, such as to submit an order or to request information from us. You may choose not to provide the personal information we request. If you choose not to provide us with your personal information, we may not be able to process your request, such as to complete transactions or fulfill orders.

Not providing information we request may also restrict your ability to use certain features of the Sites. For example, you may be able to restrict the collection of personal information or functionality through your device’s operating system or by disabling cookies, but doing so may prevent you from using the functionality of the Sites. Some Internet browsers have a “do-not-track” feature that let you tell websites that you do not want to have your online activities tracked. At this time the Sites do not respond to browser “do not track” signals.

From time to time, we may send emails to you regarding new services, releases, promotional materials, and upcoming events. You may opt out of receiving newsletters and other secondary messages from us by selecting the ‘unsubscribe’ function present in every email we send. However, you will continue to receive essential transactional emails.

For more information about your choices regarding your personal information, you may contact us using the information in the “Contact Us” section below.

Notification of Changes

We may modify the Privacy Policy to reflect changes in our privacy practices at any time and without prior notice to you. When we do so, we will update the Effective Date of the Privacy Policy, above. We encourage you to periodically review this Privacy Policy for the latest information on our privacy practices. If we make significant changes in the Privacy Policy that affect your rights, you will be provided with at least 30 days advance notice of the changes by email to your primary email address. Your continued use of the Sites after the effective date of any change to the Privacy Policy will be deemed to be your agreement to the modified Privacy Policy.

European Privacy Rights

This section sets out rights applicable to personal data of individuals located in the European Economic Area (“EEA”) and Switzerland, and our obligations regarding their personal information.

If you are located in the EEA or Switzerland, then you have the right to request access to and correction or deletion of your personal information. You may also request that we provide you with a copy of your personal information, or update it or delete it on your behalf. Your right to request access, correction, or deletion is sometimes limited. For example, we will not provide you with access to information that includes personal information of another person, and we will keep limited personal information notwithstanding a request to delete if necessary, for example, for us to establish, exercise, or defend against a legal claim. To request access to, or correction or deletion of your personal information, please submit your request by sending an email to the address specified in the “Contact Us” section below.

Similarly, you have the right to restrict or object to our processing of your personal information. The right to restrict processing arises only in limited circumstances, for example, if you think we are processing inaccurate information. In cases where our basis for processing your information is the satisfaction of our legitimate interest (e.g. fraud prevention), you may object to our processing. However, we will decline your request if our interest in continuing to process your information is sufficiently compelling to legally override your interest in the request, or our processing is necessary, for example, to establish, exercise, or defend a legal claim. You may also prevent us from sending direct marketing at any time without limitation. To request a restriction or to object to processing, please submit your request by sending an email to the address specified in the “Contact Us” section below.

You also have the right to obtain your personal information and transfer it to another party, or ask us to do so on your behalf, which we will do when technically feasible. This right is limited, and only arises when our processing of your information is automated and based on your consent or our user agreements and/or terms and conditions. If our processing of your information is based on your consent, you have the right to withdraw that consent at any time. To exercise these rights, please submit your request by sending an email to the address specified in the “Contact Us” section below.

Individuals in the EU also have the right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority established in their country.

We retain data for a reasonable period to effectuate transactions and our legitimate interests.

Transfers of Information

As part of our operations, we may transfer information about you to any jurisdiction where we do business. When you use the Sites, you acknowledge that we may transfer information about you as described in this Privacy Policy. We may transfer your personal information for any of the purposes identified in this Privacy Policy to our subsidiaries, affiliates, service providers, and business partners that may be located outside of the jurisdiction where you are located. The laws in those jurisdictions may not provide the same level of data protection compared to the laws in your country. However, we will treat your personal information as subject to the protections described in this Privacy Policy.

When we transfer personal information from the EEA or Switzerland to entities located outside of the EEA or Switzerland, we rely on legal mechanisms such as your consent standard contractual clauses adopted by the European Commission, or the EU-U.S. Privacy Shield program to establish adequate safeguards.

Data Representative

We have designated Andreas Noack as our representative in the European Union (“EU”). For EU specific questions you can reach our EU representative at [email protected]
